We use the camera to monitor a boatyard and show weather. We show the camera on our club's website allowing members to check weather conditions and make sure their boat is safe. We are very pleased with the quality of the video and the other features of the camera.
Good ptz for little money... wish I'd got the 20 time zoom instead of 5x.. oh camera identifies as only 6mb should be 8mp... says 8 in the ad and the box and docs etc.... good for thr money
This camera puts out a very high quality video at 8MP. The best part about this brand is it's compatibility with most NVRs. Anything that accepts ONVIF will be fast and easy to setup with the PTZ controls available from your NVR. This helps whether or not you want to use the app or your own system. Also the camera does not need access to the Internet to function which I prefer as it keeps everything local. Yes get a lot for the money.
I've just installed this camera, that was an easy job. Just 1 cable because it's a PoE camera. It's UltraHD 4K, which is amazing, the image is very clear and you can see everything you need in detail. The app works also great, there are a lot of options I love it. I recommend this camera
I bought my first two Jennov cameras, the Mini PTZ 5mp model earlier this year, after poachers were stealing my game cams. I also run a Blue Iris system and decided that live cams in the field is the way I wanted to go. I was able to salvage the Minis after squirrels ate the waterproof connectors, but the network switch flooding was too much and they died a horrible death. Since I had such good luck with the first Jennov cameras, I decided to replace the Minis with the 8mp. First off, integration with Blue Iris is seamless. Blue Iris detected them as generic ONVIF, but I was pleased to find that Blue Iris now has a Jennov profile that works. Even on substream, the cameras are crisp and clear, PTZ responsive, and AI has no issues with object detection from these cameras. At some point I will be expanding my cameras in the field, and Jennov will be my go to.
